I’m sitting in one of the many internet cafes in the Philippines. This one happens to be in Dumaguete City on Negros Oriental. So far, I’ve gathered that the Philippines is the most beautiful country I’ve been to and the people are the bestest. We spent some time on Siquijor island getting to know the sea, tides, starfishes, and as of yesterday, a few chats with some islanders.
We’re going to make a run for Palawan after this stopover, which hopefully won’t really take the 26-hours that the ferry ride promised.
